That said, I’m going to go listen to “Laid.” If you can get past all the Jesus references, its a really good album.
@How do I say this … THROWDINI!: It’s a great album, their best. The one-two of “Lullaby”/”Skindiving” that closes it is absolutely entrancing. And “One of the Three,” for all the Jesus referencing, is actually a pretty deft (for an on the verge of ham-handed) meditation on faith versus belief.
@Dan Gibson: I think it’s the first one in about 8 or 9 years, but I sort of stopped paying attention after Whiplash.

Yeah, James broke up for awhile, but reunited a year or two ago for some very successful arena tours in Britain. I think this is their first album in quite some time.
