I had to threaten bodily harm to the DJ at our wedding to keep him from playing the Grease Megamix, after all.

Thank you! And Jive Bunny!! I had to spell out to our wedding DJ that this was totally unacceptable. ("When in doubt, play the original," went our rule.)

I do wish our wedding had been cool enough to include "Bustin' Loose."

"Madonna, the Who and a who's who of disco stars" doesn't sound too terrible, but I'm pretty sure Smash Mouth's omnipresence would be an issue the Geneva Convetion would have something to say about if we as a country still cared about that kind of thing.

Still, nothing's gonna ever top the time I heard LCD Soundsystem's "Daft Punk is Playing at My House" over the PA about 15 minutes before the first pitch at the Metrodome.
