Calvin Harris Should Have Created A Backup

calvinharris.jpgSomewhere in Terminal 5 of London’s Heathrow Airport, there’s a laptop with Calvin Harris’ new album on it. What’s bad news for Calvin is that he’s not exactly sure where in Terminal 5 the laptop may be.

So, Harris lost his laptop, and thusly, the only copy of his finished new album. So, how are we supposed to react to this news? Sad, because he lost all that hard work in one careless moment? Happy, because we have a bit more time before he assaults us with new material? Listen to these two clips, and decide which you would rather listen to.

I’m just ready for 10 different fakes to start circulating, all claiming to be the new Calvin Harris album (and all 10 will likely be better than the actual new Calvin Harris album).

calvin harris is an idiot for not keeping something that important with his carry-on luggage.
not that i care if the album is lost to eternity anyway.

I like him better as a producer but this sucks for him, and he is kind of “fit”, as they say, so I feel bad.

If the new Sophie Ellis Bextor was lost because of him, though, there will be hell to pay.

Losing one’s only master recording wasn’t even Acceptable in the ’80s.

Fucking idiot. Just like that artis Whitey who left his new album masters in a car. No pity for people who don’t keep a backup at home or in the studio.
