Huh. So now, instead of not reading Sheffield in RS, I won’t be reading him in Blender.
I’ll say again what I’ve said before: anyone who pooh-poohs Blender on principle hasn’t actually read it — a shocking number of critics I respect write, and write well, for them.
Yeah, Bob Christgau wrote for Blender, so there!
Oh good, now we’ll hear more of his “fundit” comments about new wave bands on VH1.
Love Is A Mixtape was pretty good.
Not a surprise, since Levy brought him to Details years ago.
So lemme get this straight: all the Spin people are at Rolling Stone, all the Rolling Stone people are at Blender, now who is left at Spin?
