Flavor Flav To Star In “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” Ripoff, Complete With Faux Carlton

Flavor Of Love, the spinoff of a spinoff of The Surreal Life, now with its own spinoff with a spinoff, may not have done much for the legacy of Public Enemy, but it does seem to have given Flavor Flav’s thespian career a boost. Flav will star in MyNetworkTV’s Under One Roof, premiering April 16. The show concerns Calvester, an ex-con with nine children who took a rap for his nerdy brother Winston years earlier. Winston is now a real estate developer in Beverly Hills, and Calvester’s flock is moving into his mansion! Boing! Guess which character Flav plays? Honestly, I’m just impressed they didn’t name this Black & Blacker. [YouTube via Notes From A Different Kitchen]

Calvester? Awesome. I think Flav should star in remakes/ripoffs of every classic black sitcom. He would be a great JJ or Lionel or Lamont or Martin Payne or either Malcolm and/or Eddie. He could even do Madea…

I’m tempted to either link to the Encyclopedia Dramatica article on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, create my own Bel-Air theme and/or go to YouTube to Bel-Air this article but I won’t. I’m not even that much of a /b/tard anyway.

So does this mean that in 15 years Flavor Flav will be one of the highest caliber actors in Hollywood?
