As previously reported in this space, the spaz-pop outfit the Feelies are reuniting for a few shows this summer, and one of those shows will take place on July 4. They’re opening for Sonic Youth! At Battery Park! Which means that if you want to go to the show you should start lining up around midnight on June 30 or so. [Billboard]

I cannot believe these words are coming out of my e-mouth but… a good chunk of my fraternity brothers, including myself, are going up to NYC for this.
I like the Feelies… they were like the poor man’s Bongos…
Is the lack of comments indicative of a lack of excitement? Because, for me, this kinda makes my week. I hope they do a show in the mid-Atlantic, and save me an NYC trip.
