The world’s most beloved former coke addict has announced a slew of concert dates this summer in support of last year’s Crystal Visions: The Very Best of Stevie Nicks. I’d go, but I’m sure she probably wouldn’t sing “Rhiannon,” and if I’m going to shell out money for a Stevie Nicks performance, I have to hear her say “This is a song about an old Welsh witch.” Tour dates after the jump.

I will never forget reading this story about Mudhoney where they relate a lovely story about Stevie Nicks as reported by Jim Dickinson.
Maybe she will drape the nation’s ampitheaters in more than scarves this summer.

The familiar piano chords introduce the Welch Witch now. Stevie twirls a bit still-slooowly, teetering on her platform heels. as always the interlude leads into the R&R song we all know. She is usually draped in black chiffon and donning the black top hat. Stevie, nor FM, leave Rhiannon out of their shows.
I’m looking forward to a hopeful release of the many Rhiannon songs.
