If she went the same route as Radiohead, I'd definitely buy her solo album as a digital download.

We need more notable singers and bands (the names who were popular a few years ago but for some reason aren't being pushed by the labels today) to sell their new stuff online.

That being said, Shirley has a storied history with getting screwed by her label contracts. (Radioactive, Warner, etc.)

One wonders why she’s even dealing with a label, beyond being locked into a contract with one. If all you want to do is get your stuff out there, there’s no need to deal with the middleman anymore. And given that Shirley already has a built-in audience, all the more reason.
