I haven't had a chance to watch all of Miss Rap Supreme yet, but Brandon Soderberg's writeup makes me want to finish off the episode currently on my DVR: "The fact that 'Miss Rap Supreme' literally follows episodes of 'Flavor of Love' and the fact that the brilliantly corrective egotrip dudes are making this show, make me think it really is designed as a kind of antidote to the awfulness that is 'Flavor of Love'. On one show we see a member of one of the greatest and most significant rap groups of all-time clowning himself beyond belief, one another show (if it's anything like last season) we'll see old rap legends giving advice and generally coming out looking pretty good." Perhaps unsurprisingly, "My Neck, My Back" singer Khia is coming off like the crazy one, but I suspect she'll be told to step off soon enough. [No Trivia / pic via VH1 Blog]

Perhaps this show can fill the 'Rock of Love 2' shaped hole in my heart. Et tu, Ambre?
I did not love it, which is a bummer, because I LURVED "White Rapper," and all of Ego Trip's ventures up until this point. Maybe it will get better, funnier, and a little more rise-above-the-genre-y. But for me, the pilot was so loaded with screechy bitchery, and so not loaded with the cutting humor I usually associate with these guys, that it became a little hard to watch.
That said, do you think recovering-drug addict hata Nicky2States got her name from Monty Python sketch character Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson?
Me neither.
Unfortunately, this show was exactly what I expected it to be. Between this and Flavor of Love 3, VH1 has sunk to a new low. It's pretty bad when Bret Michaels is the prince charming of their entire reality line up.
However, I can't wait for Heather's (Rock of Love Season 1) show to premiere!
@pantycrickets: She's getting her own show??! My heart will go on!
Hmmm...I kinda enjoyed it because there seemed to be some modicum of talent on display. Khia's 16 bar "rap" should have gotten her thrown right off.
MC Serch is a fookin' GENIUS.
I think they just take the same fighting whores from Flavor of Love and just change the scenery and the rap star.
Cancel this show and produce White Rapper #2.
Hey! Thanks for the link!
