They're just hoping the people who see it will assume it's someone they're already familiar with and think "OMFG look at what Kristy Alley is wearing."

On another note, if you do happen to buy that issue, there's a heart wrenching piece about a murdered duck and a guy with amnesia to read if you don't like chubby chasing.

I saw that cover yesterday at the checkout stand and thought to myself, "Damn, I can't believe that Aretha Franklin would wear such a short skirt."

Given that I read this site daily and didn't recognize Beth Ditto, I have to think that pic isn't selling a lot of issues.

Someone at the Enquirer reads certain blogs that talk about certain people and maybe they think that constitutes a form of celebrity? I mean, Gossip are legitimately about to blow up — but that cover is just gahhhhhh.
