FWIW, Yancey et al. feel free to say things on 17Dots like “I never got the appeal of ____, but their new album just popped up on emusic today.” They also occasionally mention stuff they love that isn’t on emusic, but it’s still very much a blog for emusic subscribers, not likely to be too useful for anyone else.
