My Bloody Valentine announced seven North American shows today, an early-autumn jaunt that will have the band hit New York, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. And in an effort to keep their publicist busy, today also brought the announcement that the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival that they’re curating in upstate New York–which takes place Sept. 19-21–has added Dinosaur Jr, Mercury Rev, Growing, Lilys, Yo La Tengo, and Harmonia to its lineup and released a new batch of tickets. Full list of MBV tour dates (via Pitchfork) after the jump.

My Bloody Valentine Announce North American Tour! [Pitchfork]

I so will be there at the Toronto gig!
Aging hipsters are PSYCHED.
whoever gets me the Oct 2 ticket for L.A. has my babeez
It really sucks not living on one of the coasts. If I’d still lived in Michigan I coulda made it to Chi town, tho. Damn Denver.
This is one of those bands that I am kind of embarrassed about never hearing. At least, not to my knowledge have I heard them.
Meh. I may come out for this, but I still like the Jesus & Marychain better.
Might want to throw a comma between Growing and Lilys up there. At least I hope those two bands are playing, and not some new hybrid.
@Brad Almanac: HA - you beat me to the punch. i was worried and confused for a second until i got the p-fork link to work. lilys!!!!
@Brad Almanac: ah, sorry about that. i got too excited!
I hope they bring Kevin Shields along as their opener.
If it’s under $50 I’ll definitely try to get tickets for the Chicago show.
@NoOneCaresAboutYourFuckingBlog: This show I would see.
Both coasts and Chicagoland. Yup, there’s a more typical tour routing, as opposed to the Waits bizarro tour from yesterday (not that I’m complaining about that.)
I guess I know when I’m making my next Gotham pilgrimmage. Dammit. You’d think living in the 9th-largest US MSA would at least save me from having to travel more than 500 miles for can’t-miss shows.
when do ticks go on sale for nyc?
