Bad Band Names, Part LXVI In A Never-Ending Series

portman.jpgNatalie Portman’s Shaved Head. I can’t wait for them to tour with Witty Pop Cultural Reference To Something Else That Happened In 2005! Better get those ironic covers of “Don’t Phunk With My Heart” ready, guys. [MySpace]

Can we get a “Myspace page not safe for those susceptible to seizures” warning next time? I mean, I just wanted to confirm that their music was as shitty as their name, and the next thing I know I’m lying on the ground bleeding from my eyeballs.

Hey, those kids are REALLY young and really nice. Let’s cut ‘em a break.

Maybe I feel a little biased since I’m from Portland, and one of the kids in that band is local keytar hero Copy’s little sibling….

Their fathers should smack them in the mouths.

Awwwwww… It’s stupid good fun. Granted I’m also of the Northwest–where electronic(ish) music has a hard time getting anywhere if it’s not stupid good fun–so I’ve seen these kids bounce around a basement or two.

Oh my god people, I can’t believe you’re judging these guys just
because of their name. I’ve been an avid fan of these guys for about
a year and they probably have to be the most creative recently
graduated high school human beings I have ever known, plus they’re
really funny and are really creative and make really catchy music
about funny thing, if you do not like these guys because o their name,
you have no sense of humor and should go kill yourselves, or instead
of doing that you should listen to their music and buy all their songs
off myspace because you’ll discover they’re really good and then
you’ll tell your friends about them so that they get famous

well that ‘bad name’ has earned them a post and a link (and praise from commenters) on Idolator, so, they win.
