   Re: Milli Vanilli — To whatever extent they count, one of them is dead, so it seems rather unlikely. Although I suppose the real singers could tour. Did those guys ever put out a record of their own?

   This isn’t the first reunion attempt by Ned’s. They were back together briefly in the early 00’s, and set to play NYC at CMJ 2001 which was canceled because of 9/11. Not only did they opt to not come back and play the rescheduled CMJ later that year, they broke up again.

   They put out a pretty decent live record documenting the reunion as well, which was pretty rocking.

   Ned’s B-sides were always better than the album cuts. “Terminally Groovy” or “Nothing is Cool” anyone?

    I’m holding out hope for a Kitchens of Distinction reunion. I remember seeing them at the old 9:30 Club in DC back when “Drive That Fast” was on WHFS four times a day. Such a delightful group…
