At left, the logo for Daniel Boulud’s new restaurant, which will sell $10 hot dogs and $29 hamburgers in a location that’s steps away from the former CBGB site. Here’s hoping Boulud has enough of a sense of humor to recreate CB’s bathrooms. [Eater]

If any of you Idolators ever come to St. Louis, we have a great (unrelated) bar called CBGB. It’s an amiable hole in the wall, and its bathrooms are an improvement upon CBGBNY’s infamous latrines. Our CBGB has cheap beer, and Matt from Bunnygrunt often books shows there. Boyracer, the Smittens, and pretty much the entire Happy Happy Birthday To Me roster have played there at some point. As far as I know, there are no T-shirts available.
Ha! That’s hilarious! For a second there, I thought you said “$10 hot dogs.”
If “DB” stands for “Daniel Boulud,” then what does the “GB” stand for?
@Reidicus: Grab Bag
@Reidicus: “Goddamn[, a $29] burger.”
