The new site Brandtags plops the Web 2.0 concept of “tag clouds” on top of out-of-context brand names in an effort to find out how the public really, truly feels about today’s biggest corporations (and the Zune). As you can see by the above clipping from Ticketmaster’s entry, not only do they have Live Nation’s impending ticketing platform to worry about, they still have a lot of work to do as far as making their name a little bit less synonymous with ripoffs. (Especially since “Nigeria” is in there, which I think is a hint that some people feel like their “pay a convenience fee for using your own ink and paper” ethos is not dissimilar to a mini-419 scam that gets perpetuated every hour of every day.)

…I for one, welcome our new, Livenation overlords.
In terms of evil business practices, Live Nation is going to make Ticketmaster look like your high school bake sale.
@Empire: But there will totally be six months of actual competition in there where we can buy tickets without getting totally fucked.
I love how “ripodd” comes in at the end of the list for all those people who can’t type (like me).
