Lil Kim Wins Lawsuit Against Lil Cease, Will Attempt To Collect $500k

Lil Cease, who excused his court testimony against Lil Kim in 2005 by claiming “she made it clear to the world that she didn’t want to have anything to do with me and my peoples,” now has to pay her half a million bucks for putting her face on a DVD and basically pretending she wants anything to do with him and his peoples. Originally Kim was seeking $6 million, but I can’t imagine Lil Cease has ever stood to make that much money in his life.

Lil’ Kim notched a victory in court yesterday (May 15), when a judge awarded her $500,000 dollars over an unauthorized DVD released by former cohort Lil’ Cease.

Lil’ Kim filed the $6 million dollar lawsuit against Lil’ Cease in July of 2005, claiming the former Junior M.A.F.I.A. member illegally used her name and likeness to promote his DVD The Chronicles of Junior M.A.F.I.A. Part II: Reloaded.

…In July of 2005 Lil’ Kim won a temporary restraining order against the entire Junior M.A.F.I.A. and Ground Zero Entertainment to halt sales of the DVD.

Representatives for Lil’ Cease were not available for comment as of press time.

Are we to honestly believe that Lil’ Cease has representatives after this?

I could never understand for the life of me why the album version of “Crush On You” didn’t have Kim on it at all. But the “remix” single/video version did. How can you not rap a line on a song on your own album?!

That phenomenon was just indicative of Bad Boy in the 90’s (even though this isn’t Bad Boy, but still, close enough)…think the awesome remix of Craig Mack’s “Flava In Ya Ear” and the Bad Boy remix of Method Man and Mary J.’s “You’re All I Need.” Both of those were huge singles, but then when you got the albums you only got the original non-single mixes.
