Black Mountain Bring Their Evil Ways To The Stage

Pitchfork.tv has a full live set by Black Mountain, the Canadian sludge-rock outfit whose second full-length, In The Future, is somber and spooky and all kinds of great. Black Mountain are SUPERIOR. Saw them twice this year and both shows were monumental. A truly great rock band.

There’s definnitely a “hashish lounge” element here, much like Brightblack Morning Light. I’m impressed with the camerawork, nice job Pitchfork.

They were so amazing when I saw them earlier this year. Absolutely no stage banter at all, either!
