Where a French techno act would show teenagers assaulting and threatening passerby in their video, pop-punk bottom feeders New Found Glory have filmed themselves waving guns and abusing children while singing some godawful track that sounds like every else they’ve ever done over their interminable career. The band has yet to say whether the clip is intended to show “just how difficult it is today to control the destination of images and the integrity of their meaning,” but give it time. [YouTube]

Somewhere out there from a few years ago was Jani Lane in his endless comeback of sorts phase wearing a bad Mohawk and a New Found Glory shirt.
Yeah that was believable. Note to music video directors, both punk and rap: the phrase “Could you try to make it look a little less like this is the first time you’ve handled a gun in your life?” should probably be part of your repertoire.
Did anyone notice the bag of kettle chips? Looks like they’ve been hitting those pretty hard in the past few years.
