AP080407040288.jpgSchlock-shock radio hosts Opie and Anthony have come forward with some details about the hour-plus delay before Stone Temple Pilots’ show this weekend. The duo claim bassist Robert “Apology Accepted, Brother” DeLeo was screaming “come on out, Axl!” at Weiland’s bus, which a large bodyguard kept him from entering. DeLeo then called Weiland’s female assistant a variety of hateful words, demanding she be taken off the tour, before addressing the finally-accounted-for Weiland with an angry “can you even do the show?” before the band finally sauntered onto the stage. Only three more months of touring left, guys! [FoundryMusic]

Opie and Anthony then proceeded to make poopy/doody jokes for the remaining 4 hours of their show.

It’s like the DeLeos adopted a cuddly kitty from Slash, who neglected to tell them that it generated twice its body weight in explosive diarrhea.

Then they remembered where they’d seen the cat before.
