Fred Schneider Can Even Make The Downfall Of The American Moment Sound Like A Party

Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart enlisted the B-52's Fred Schneider to turn snippets of Scott McLellan's audiobook version of What Happened—in which the former White House press secretary makes the shocking claim that the current U.S. president might be something of a propagandist (I know, right?)—into a party at the Love Shack. Schneider looks half-mortified to be there, perhaps because he's without his foils Kate Pierson and Cindy Wilson, or perhaps because he knows, deep in his heart, that "Rock Lobster" would have been a much more appropriate choice for the backing music.
