Lloyd and Lil Wayne teamed for one of my favorite jams last year, the caddish “You,” and by lifting a classic beat and letting Lloyd’s falsetto fly, they’ve raised their own bar. A throwback jam that still feels of the moment, “Girls Around The World” is one of those tracks that probably would have ruled my summer back when I was first discovering pop in Z100’s early days, and I’m just glad that it finally came into existence in time to save what was looking to be a pretty dire year for car-radio staples.
