Without shame, I can state the Wes Borland did a sweet tap move on one song from 3 Dollar Bill, Yall, and I frequently rip the technique off when writing music, if even for a brief measure. I still think he’s a great example of Mesa tone (unfortunately, this showed best on later albums).

@The Van Buren Boys: I believe he also is talking about the version that totally skips the part of "Behind Blue Eyes" that actually has an element of hard rock, the breakdown in the middle, leaving nothing but a nu-metal ballad centered on Mr. Durst's whiney voice. Sacrilege indeed.

underappreciated=wes borland’s guitar work on the first limp bizkit record. it was a brilliant evolution of tom morello’s reinvention of the instrument. plus, he played a frickin’ a four string guitar like a bass. too bad borland started recycling riffs for the following records.
