50 Cent Has Beef With T.I. (Big Surprise)

50centwonderswhatitwouldtaketogetyouintothispontiac.jpg50 Cent–who apparently still records music, despite what he might have said previously–has decided to take on T.I., because the Atlanta MC isn’t going to spend as much time in prison as Curtis would like. To spare you the trouble of picking up the new G-Unit disc, the “controversial” lyrics regarding T.I. are below the cut.

So, what does Mr. Cent have to say about T.I.? According to blogger “That Bitch”, here are his insights.

Nowaways this rap shit ain’t adding up/ How n—-s get caught with 10 machine guns, only get 12 months?/Oo-weee, don’t talk to me/ If you talking to him, you talking to them…/I got the best lawyers that money can buy/ they say at best they woulda got me 10 or maybe 9./I said, how do you explain how the homie breezed?/They said, you keep your mouth shut or you eat the cheese.

Now, why would 50 Cent have called his lawyers recently? One can only guess.

In any case, a comparison of recent material from both parties might be in order:

T.I., “You Know What It Is”:

50 Cent, “Get Money”:

Stay tuned, at very least, for a week or so, until the entire affair becomes dull and 50 Cent puts out another boring record.

Ja Rule Producer Explains Failed Rick Ross Collabo, 50 Cent’s Karma and Coldplay
In the United States, it has been hard to change perception. Swizz B eatz, T.I. Weird Al Yankovic, and even 50 Cent have sampled Coldplay. But, the alternative rockers would not approve a sample for Ja’s “Spun A Web,” a song on PIL2 that ...

Oh, I see. Fifty needs a new beef to help him sell records. OK. Got it.

    It isn’t dull now?

@Chris N.: Yeah, that’s why it’s not going to work.

i’m pretty fucking sick of rappers rapping about talking to their lawyers. paul barman is more gangsta than most of these assholes anymore.

These days I have the same reaction when I see 50 as when I see George W. Bush — a mildly annoyed, “Oh, is he still hanging around?” kind of feeling.

The question of which track dominates is a trick one, right? Cause as much as like T.I., “I Get Money” is just a straight banger. Curtis knows his way around a hook, even if his verses are somethingsomethingmubbles.

@Chris N.: And they both peaked in 2003!

@drinkypuss: Yeah, Curtis rides the hooks, but that’s not his problem. He’s got a public relations problem. Ever since Kanye beat him like he stole something, he lost a lot of credibility with fans. He should not have taken on the challenge to outsell Kanye. And I don’t think he got shot all of those times, either. Some of the Black web sites play him like a punk. Now, it’s just a matter of perception. He can burn down all of his houses and fight in public with all of his baby mamas, but he’s gotta focus on the work. He should borrow a page from Weezy, who is a viral marketing genius. Dewd’s everywhere, and he’s good.

@drinkypuss: I didn’t even get into the schism at G-Unit. It’s all manufactured. They need to stop. Make some music. Leave T.I. alone. He’s going to prison. He’s got southern rap on lock. He’s a cholo.
