Related: I frequent a legendary bagel place in the heart of Chelsea. Some well-meaning (?) street-teamer left a stack of Katy Perry stickers in the community flyer area last week. They were gone the next day, which is pretty rare, so I asked the counter clerk if she'd noticed that people took them, or what -- and she replied that some disgruntled queen had tossed them in the trash with a crabby "Harumph!" earlier that day.
