What's worse: if you're actually dense enough to think Soulja Boy Tell Em is hip-hop, you need to take your thoughts on a long stroll down a dusty Brooklyn street and get your mind right. Soulja Boy is a pop star who uses rap music as his vehicle to pop stardom, period.

I don't know which is dumber: calling Soulja Boy Tell Em hip-hop or Ice-T trying to put himself in the same category as Soulja Boy.

Um. I didn't go look it up or anything, but wasn't "Fuck da Police" by NWA? My parents don't get Ice Cube and Ice T confused.

@skweetis: beat me too it. But yeah, I kinda don't see Solja Boy and Ice-T in the same genre just like I don't exactly see, oh, Low and Slayer in the same genre. One could argue they're both playing rock, but there's miles of difference there. Same with these two. Both rap, but there's oceans of difference between "Crank Dat" and "6 in the Morning."

(Maybe not so much with L.G.B.N.A.F. though. hee hee hee)

Which has more in common with Slayer. Than Soulja Boy.

I'd have thought Ice-T did as much to kill hip hop as Soulja Boy did. Except Ice-T's been making mediocre music for 25 years as opposed to Soulja Boy's 2.
