Oh, Miley Cyrus. You must love to tweak the noses of your elders, what with you deciding to bring your 40-year-ciggie-habit voice and sheeny production to Cyndi Lauper's ode to feminine acting-out. But does your daddy really ask you what you're doing with your life at this point, given that what you're doing these days pretty much amounts to "helping people forget about that whole unfortunate mullet thing by letting him creepily stage-parent"? Hey, it's probably Mom's money that's going to pay for the thing, so covering one of her favorite songs from back in the day ain't a half-bad idea.

The thought of hearing Miley Cyrus sing about how she's not one of the fortunate ones is a terribly depressing irony, isn't it?
