I've actually been a fan of Drive A since I heard about them a few months ago (their manager sent me a CD and I blogged about them [end shameless plug]). I agree though that Drive A has no place on a major label. As much as I want them to be heard by millions of people, a major label would most likely strip them of their balls and turn them into a Seether/Three Days Grace clone. Or they'd drop an album and people like Pitchfork or the folks here would crap on them for being a second-rate Velvet Revolver (which they aren't, for the record).

I've actually been a fan of Drive A since I heard them a few months ago (their mgr contacted me about a piece for my own blog ). As much as I want them to be heard by infinitely more people, signing them to a major label would kill them. They'd either get crapped on for being some ripoff on bands like Velvet Revolver (even though Drive A is better), or they'd get pushed into that jumblefuck of radio rock and wind up sounding more like Seether and less like a group of teenagers with balls.
