The war between Soulja Boy and Ice-T is over. A-Rab no longer has to be on the lookout for SVU detectives planting evidence. Evil E can walk down the street without wondering if that teenager is going to throw a semen-stained bedsheet on his back, yelling "Yahhh, trick, yahhh!" But while both sides have promised no more YouTubes on the subject, there's little sense of the rift between B.C. (Before Christopher Wallace) and A.D. (After Diddy) rappers being closed. Explains Soulja, "Basically comments were made (by Ice-T) and I had to defend myself," Soulja Boy told AllHipHop. "The GZA had said something about me one time and 50 jumped it in. And this time it was Ice-T and Kanye jumped in it. It's the new Hip-Hop sticking together and I love it." Do you?

Seriously, who gives a shit about these pukes?
I was hoping for a video of Ice-T peeing on Soulja Boy.
You're really asking me to choose between Ice-T and the GZA and Solja Boy, Kanye and fiddy?
I would just like to say that I think all hip-hop has sucked since The Great Adventures of Slick Rick. Biggie Smalls? I'll take the Fat Boys! Ice-T? I'll take Schooly D! All that "golden age" nonsense was just hype! Let's give it up for Coonskin caps, Cazales and Lee jeans, party people! 1987 4-evah!
Also, here's the jam that truly defines what it means to be "old school":

well...i prefer when rap is made by grown-ups, if that makes me "old school".
@Clevertrousers: btw, my comments are directed to the original post, not at you. we both just happened to use the phrase "old school" in quotation marks.
The American people are the true winners?
Since we have had the unique opportunity to observe and take part in a free exchange of ideas and currently enjoy the historically unprecedented choice of among a near-infinite range of aesthetics and viewpoints?
I have Pop, Lock and Drop It stuck in my head.
