Face For Radio Dept.

ct.jpgWNYC has graciously put up the discussion of the live album that I engaged in with John Schaefer and Simon Hardeman yesterday; there’s embedded audio after the jump (just click Robin Zander’s cute face to get there). Thanks again for all your input yesterday, as it really helped me a lot. Also, another radio programming note: Every Thursday morning at around 8:35 ET, I chat with the fine folks at WFNX’s The Sandbox about the pop-cultural goings-on of the week. They even wrote me a very silly theme song.

That show today probably reaches a lot of people, huh? I’ll give you seventeen (17) American dollars if you make a plea for John Taylor of Duran Duran to have sex with me. Thanks. :)

@NeverEnough: Sadly, I think that translates into a 50-pence coin for a Brit these days.

@Ned Raggett: I’m not above bartering. I also have an unopened box of Strawberry Pop Tarts and an old Dokken shirt I can throw in to sweeten the deal.

John Schaefer over-annunciates and sounds like a pukey Jiminy Glick.

    Maura, ya done good.

…And this site is pronounced eye-DAHL-iturr?? Shit!

I would have thought so, yeah. Like idolatry minus the nasty business at the end.

That Daft Punk bit was kind of nutty. I can’t really see how anybody could consider that record a mere replication of the originals.
