Tough Break, Kiddos: Kidzapalooza Los Angeles Is Off

Speaking of festivals and children, if you were planning on seeing Slash and Gary Oldman (?!) at Kidzapalooza in Los Angeles later this summer, make other plans. Artist scheduling conflicts are forcing a postponement of the West Coast festival until 2009, although it appears the Chicago version is still on. This is just like in 2004, when I had my hopes up to see Bumblebeez 81 at Lollapalooza and that ended up getting cancelled. Perry Farrell, you’ve hurt me before. Why must you take it out on my kids as well? [NME]

Yeah BUT if you live in Europe, you can take your kids to the appropriately named Metal Rock Fest in LILLEHAMMER, NORWAY in August to see White Lion so now who’s bad?
