David Lee Roth Manages To Get Even More Confusing

As previously reported, the story was that David Lee Roth was pulled over for speeding, and he claimed he was having an allergic reaction to nuts so some cops saved his life instead of ticketing him. Roth now claims the entire story was false; he’s issued a statement denying he was even in that area of Canada, and that the only thing he’s “allergic to is criticism”. So, are the seemingly innocent Canadians in the above clip lying? Was there an impostor hanging around southwestern Ontario who duped even the local authorities? There’s only one solution: Find Dave, tie him down with a few silky scarves, and force feed him almonds. It’s the only way to resolve this whole debacle. [Musicradar]

OK, here it is: another chance to make some David Lee Roth “nut” jokes. Let’s not waste it this time.

Is that why “Somebody Call the Doctor” follows “Dance the Nut Away” on Van Halen II?

Pulled over for speeding in Canada? How did they pull his car over? Arent their cops on horseback?

Wonder if he reached down between his legs … and eased the seat back.

Mountie: “Why were you in such a rush?”
Roth impostor: “Close - I was in-a Van Halen.”
Mountie: “Mr. Roth. Those’re some nice slacks, eh?”
Roth: “Thanks. Haggar, $50 on sale.”
    Mountie: “GOTCHA! Hey! Stop!”

So it’s a David Lee Roth impersonator who can’t drive 55… Was he on his way to Cabo Wabo?
