I can’t figure out if I’m excited about this album. The last album was very much fun, but the between-albums single was pretty much the worst thing that’s ever happened to me or anyone else.

The new album is an experimental single hour-long track. The rest of the band fiddles around on electric sitars and bongos while Liam plays with drone loops of himself doing coke in one of the bathrooms at Abbey Road. “Isss fookin’ brilliaaant, mayte!”

The next one should be the members posed in front of a yellow background and called Weezer (Yellow Album), before Rivers uses that color for the 2010 album that will inevitably disappoint the masses waiting for Pinkerton 2: Electric Boogaloo.
