A South Carolina judge has given the go-ahead to this Thursday's auction of James Brown's possessions. So, who wants to start passing the hat for an Idolator-reader bid on the blue cape pictured at right? (If we fall short of the $20k it's expected to command, well, there's always this mini-Casiotone. I may actually buy the script for Undercover Brother. But then again, I tried to buy a blimp from Lou Pearlman and failed, so I won't get my hopes up too much.
