I lived in Las Vegas for two years, and let me assure you, there is no time where the pawn shop business there isn’t booming … along with the check cashing business. There are stores matching those descriptions on more or less every city block in Las Vegas, even nominally “affluent” areas.

Look, I love Mariah Carey as much as the next [wo]man, but she is killing me with this new “Real Housewives of Orange County” look. I mean seriously, just look at that picture up above. And parading about town in skin tight hello kitty and minnie mouse shirts with a 19 year old looking Nick Cannon sure doesn’t help things. Not hating and/or dissing, just saying.
