The Voice of Lightness: Congo Classics 1961-1977. It’s the album I have put on for pleasure more than almost any other in the past 12 months.) A few days ago, Ken Braun of Sterns Music emailed that he’d gotten indirect word from a former bandmate that Tabu Ley is in Brussels’ St. Luc’s Hospital; he hadn’t gotten word of his condition. His collection from last year is wonderful, one of the most enjoyable listens on my ipod. And his album with Franco is, of course, classic. I just downloaded a collection of his work with Sam Mangwana from emusic that I can’t wait to listen to.
A real giant of music. I wish him the best.

Just grabbed this off eMusic as well. thanks for the tip.
