Oh god. Do we really want to have a discussion about college co-eds in New England and their love/affinity for current and/or popular hip-hop? Cause I can only imagine what dancing to that song is like on a college campus.

Yeah, something tells me that if I was in college right now, I would be REAL sick of Katy Perry. I could so see her tunes blasting at some house party, kegger, or pre-gaming festivity at my alma mater. [Shivers]I could see it now: young co-eds buzzed, and enjoying themselves while singing the chorus off key and loud as hell and in each other’s faces on the dancefloor and on table tops. But no same sex kissing though. They ain’t that bold. This is a D3 New England campus we are talking about. Shit like that doesn’t exist in that world.

Agreed. I watched the video of Miley mocking her Disney counterpart and was actually entertained and kind of took more of a shining to her. I am not saying she needs to go around being a bitch to people, but the giggling fits, and straight up mean girls at a lunch table shtick just made her seem less corporate and more real teenage girl. Again, not defending it, just saying. She’s 15. You tell me you never said something about somebody in high school and then had to own up to it shamelessly when word eventually got out. But then again don’t listen to me. I’m a 24 year old male who will watch Hannah Montana with no shame [on mute or not] when there’s a death of shit to watch on television. Plus I refuse to enjoy that Katy Perry track. So I guess I’m on team Miley for this one as well.

And I can’t be the only one who’s sick of this “OMG WHO IS KATY GOING TO KISS AT THE VMAS???” non-story.
