Ne-Yo Makes A Bid To Become The Newest Kid On The Block

newyoontheblock.jpgA snippet of a collaboration between New Kids On The Block and Ne-Yo has made its way out to the Internet, and from what I can tell, it’s pretty much a Ne-Yo leftover that happens to have a five-man chorus of backing vocalists. (Although is that Donnie Wahlberg rapping at the beginning of the clip?) Woe the beast known as the slow news day, for this is what it brings you: Songs that you wouldn’t even care enough about to flip the station over while stuck on a traffic and accident-choked highway. Clip after the jump.

Oh, come now, Fearless Leader: this is clearly up your alley. Not the result, but the very concept of your 20-years-ago White Whale crossed with one of your current faves. You’d care enough to click. No?

@Chris Molanphy: Well, it would be more newsworthy if it weren’t just a snippet. And if the song was maybe a bit better.
