I know that a lot of Idolator readers were peeved that they didn’t live near a stop on Tom Waits’ “Glitter and Doom” tour, thanks to Waits mapping his route after the constellation Hydra. NPR has thought of all of you, and other people stranded by geography: They’ve put up a recording of Waits’ July 5 show at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, a two-hour, 21-minute affair that should at the very least take you through lunchtime. (It’s streaming from the site; if you want a downloadable version, you need to subscribe to All Songs Considered’s live-shows podcast.) [NPR]
