I’d have noted Rich Juzwiak has a new mix up no matter what–his mixes are always newsworthy by Idolator’s ears–but I’m humbled that he cites something I wrote as an impetus for his putting together the third collection of New Jack Swing classics and rarities. Whatever the reason, this is worth grabbing sooner rather than later. [Four Four]

I hadn’t listened to New Jack stuff since I was 12, but that changed when I bought the GTA: San Andreas box set. One of the discs is solely New Jack classics. Brought me back.
