The songs on ‘Justice’ are good, but it sounds like it was recorded inside a cardboard box.
The very end of the last song on …Justice always sort of drives me crazy. It’s like someone always hits ‘STOP’ on the record a split second before that last note is actually done. Let the damn thing decay! I’ve always sort of wondered if the original performance of the song was supposed to be longer, but they decided to cut it off there. Either way, it’s a terribly awkward way to end an amazing-yet-poorly-engineered album.
They should have all died in the bus with Cliff after “Master of Puppets”.
