This Adorable Puppy Would Like You To Chew On Our Reader Survey

559314.jpgYes, that’s right: It’s reader survey time, where we ask you questions about your likes, dislikes, and hobbies. If you could be so kind as to fill one out, so we can get a clearer picture of just who out there is reading, I’d be much obliged, and so would Madison up top. (Who, I should note, belonged to Martina Navratilova at the time the picture was taken, back in 2002. Also? Looking through photo wires for pictures of cute dogs is a fantastic perk.) Thank you ever so much!

    Should those of us who actually contribute to the site in addition to reading it fill out this survey too, if such a hypothetical creature happened to be really bored at the office, or is it more strictly a survey for non-involved readers only?

    I like the “alternaive country” category.

    i’m confused about the “how many shows do you attend” responses – specifically “Less than 1 a week – about 2 a week”…is this meant to be “about 2 a month?”

  4. Anonymous  |   Posted on Aug 13th, 2008

    I’m confused about the lack of a “I download music but do not pay for it” option.

    @gypsymazzurco: no comment!

    This was interesting as it totally laid bare how my live-music going habits have changed in the past year. Which is to say, I really don’t go out as much as I used to. At all.

    I haven’t seen the survey yet. However, I promise to dutifully lie about anything that might make me look like a more desirable consumer, should the need arise to use the survey results as a marketing tool.

    Yep, needs more non-paid options to cover getting music… especially boxes for “I download without paying”, “I get promo”, and “friends give me burned stuff and say ‘check this’”

    Yeah, there’s some missing options here, like “I haven’t seen my favourite band in the past year”, “I download music without paying for it”, and “I don’t buy CDs but I spent a lot of money on vinyl, both new and used”. Especially that last one. Vinyl’s making a big comeback; haven’t you heard? It was in f-king Newsweek, man!
