If you’re in New York anytime between now and, oh, January 9, you might want to check out the Museum of Modern Art’s new exhibit, opened today, called “Looking at Music.” Its focus is the mid-’60s through the mid-’70s–no surprise there–but the lineup of art-into-pop types (Nam June Paik, Bruce Nauman, Steve Reich, Joan Jonas, Yoko Ono, Laurie Anderson, David Bowie, John Cage, Jack Smith, and Ray Johnson) and the variety of works on display make this look pretty scrumptious. Not to mention a killer lineup of movie screenings to accompany the exhibit. [MoMA] (HT: Kate Silver)
