Oasis Would Like To Take 120 Minutes Of Your Time

Collage art, rapidly blooming flowers, repurposed stock footage, a Stones homage to go along with the lyrical referencing of the Beatles: If I didn’t know that the band was just that steeped in the past, I’d think that the clip for Oasis’ “The Shock Of The Lightning” was expressly designed to not look (or sound!) out of place when it was aired during a “Classic/Current” then-and-now video two-pack on VH1 Classic. sorry, didn’t mean to criticise:)
    I’m…just an Oasis hater!
I do sort of love Noel’s bumbly grandad routine though.
You can download Journey to the West in the U.S today from their website. The physical release is Sept 29th.
I got it off of iTunes weeks ago though, they accidentally had it up for a couple of days. I really like it, although I did see the opera, and have been told it’s sort of those “you had to be there” albums. “Monkey Bee” is fantastic though!

Maura, do you think the vocals are a little drowned out? Otherwise, classic Oasis (that’s a good thing)…

I can’t help but regard the strengthened re-emergence of Oasis, The Verve and maybe even Guns ‘N’ Roses as like, ex-boyfriends who are suddenly calling me now that I’ve been parading around with my new boy toys.

Come on, guys. I am really in love this time. Move on.

Well, maybe we can still be friends.
