If I can download something and leave it on my desktop for listening at home (I carry a laptop between work and home), I will, but if it’s on YouTube or a stream or something, I’m liable to forget to play it later; so I sneak it in at work.

What I think T’Challa is trying to get at here is some of us are, yet again, being those random, faceless internet commenters quick to supply the snark and negativity to yet another band with a little popularity? TVOTR are obviously letting their hair down and catching a groove, so why can’t we?

Problem is I just can’t “catch the beat” or give in to this song’s come ons. And for me to feel like that is fine. I remember laughter, yes, but I also remember how and when a couple of other bands I know and enjoy did the exact same thing, sang in the exact same voice, jumped on the exact same “dance-like-trance-like-get-ya-hustle-on-groove” and a lot of peeps wouldn’t give it the time of day. TV on the Radio does it [quite awkwardly and average if you ask me] and all of a sudden I’m supposed to bow in the presence of greatness? No. Thank You.

I also can’t help but think of !!! when I play the track, meaning I rather be listening to them than this. But I’m biased. Never really cared much for TVOTR radio anyway.
