YACHT Gets Caught In A Freeze Frame

The electro wizardry of YACHT has found a home at DFA Records, and its first release on the label is, somewhat appropriately, “Summer Song,” which is a booty-shaking love letter to the label’s flagship band, LCD Soundsystem. The attached video is pretty enjoyable, too, but then again, I can always appreciate a clip that can combines the meta-tastic “making of the making of the video” plotline with some budget-conscious pyro and a shoutout to the J. Geils Band. [Vimeo via Team Yacht]
