While Universal Music Group won’t have U2 around to drive year-end album sales, Kanye West might take an extended break from blogging about Kate Moss/producing Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 to record his fourth album. According to his management, the currently untitled long-player should be ready to drop just in time for the ever-magical fourth quarter, with a single scheduled to hit iTunes any day now. Then again, this might be just an excuse to keep Kanye’s name “out there” in preparation for his next album’s mid-2012 release date. (Hey, blogging can be a very creativity-sapping endeavor!)
