Man, you people are harsh. I really doubt that Lily got pregnant because it’s the cool thing to do. Maybe they wanted a baby, maybe it was an accident, but who are we to judge? If she’s happy, good for her. People get knocked up every day, even celebrities!

@maura: I mean, I could go off on this, but really the idea of pregnancy as a "trend" is just something that completely grosses me out, especially given my current feelings toward the world (thumbnail sketch: it's a ship that's going down fast). And the obsessive coverage of baby bumps et al just makes me anxiously anticipate the eyebrows-of-Lourdes coverage that awaits the kids of these celebrities.
