Eddie Vedder Is Excited About The Chicago Cubs

The Pearl Jam lead singer debuted “Someday We’ll Go All The Way” in August (to celebrate the birthday of Cub legend Ernie Banks), but what with the team’s magic number to clinch the NL Central being so close to zero, Chicago-area radio stations have picked it up as something of a rallying cry over the past few days. But who will pick up that mantel for the Cubs’ crosstown rivals, the White Sox? (No, really, I’m asking.) [Nearly Next Year]

Baseball is the one where they hit the ball with a stick, right?

The White Sox should just stick with the Journey song from their world series win. Don’t Stop Believing works just as well for a win or a loss…

Pretty sure the last playoff series the Mets won was against the Dodgers. As in, a sweep.

I prefer Chamillionaire’s generic Astros tribute from a few years back to Eddie’s mumbling. (That said, drunken “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” = goldmine.)
