Gabe Saporta > Eminem

AP080721033225.jpgNot that the serial hoodie wearer/Cobra Starship frontman being superior to the once-pioneering, now-yawnworthy hip-hop star should be news to any of you, but as if to seal the deal, Eminem has come up with his own gender-bending version of Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl,” and, well, it’s so limply humorless, it almost makes Perry’s original sound somewhat fresh. (Here’s Cobra Starship’s version, so you can wash the ick from your mouth when Eminem’s done.) [YouTube]

    He’s a poser to the n-th degree. Just part of the American Apparel / Wayfarer wearing trendsters following what they are told is cool and hip.

    @Maura Johnston:

    I’ve been an Eminem fan since way back. Even saw him at Ford Field in 2003. I have a hard time comparing him to the latest wave of fad bands.
